Baby Black Rhino – Print

Printed from Silvana Olivo’s original watercolour, the Baby Black Rhino (in the image, Diceros bicornis) represents the hope for survival for this endangered species, which is found in the protected reserves of very few African countries today. The total number is less than 6500. The author witnessed the collapse of its last great wild population, in Zimbabwe, in the ’80s and ’90s, as documented in her book ‘Zambezi Valley, The Lost Stronghold’. Printed in France on Fine Art Hahnemühle paper.
